TBI (The B.A.N.N.E.D Indians) created a history by making the first music album ever for a Novel in India. Many deny the fact saying Gajendra Verma's "Tujhse Door Jo Hota Hoon" is the pioneer but TBI begs to differ as Gajendra's song was simply used to promote the novel whereas TBI's work is totally based on the characters and theme from the book Half Life. TBI released the first single "Reborn" from the music album, "Half Life" @ https://soundcloud.com/sheenshamshad/reborn on Nov 30th, 2014. The album has two more tracks "The Florist" and "Nyah's Waiting Ashore". The album was released @

The song 'Reborn' tries to convey the perplexed feelings of Parker Williamson, the lead male character from the Novel, about the urge for his duties, responsibilities and Love after some unfortunate event that occurs in the book. Parker's true love, Nyah is being addressed in the song. While the song does make sense to the listener, one can better understand it if they have read the novel.
Half Life music IS NOT a promotional music album for the novel. Instead, it was proposed between two different professionals/artists, author M H Rahman and singer/composer Sheen Shamshad. Inspired by the book, Sheen Shamshad proposed to make a Music Album based on his book Half Life and Rahman accepted it. And now, they own a band "The B.A.N.N.E.D Indians" together.
